Letters To Santa, Letters From Santa https://www.kentonlibrary.org/blogs/post/letters-to-santa-letters-from-santa/ Thu, 14 Nov 2024 13:58:10 +0000 https://www.kentonlibrary.org/?p=5596

Kenton County Parks & Recreation, in cooperation with the Kenton County Public Library, is excited to announce its “Letters To Santa, Letters From Santa” program will begin on Monday, November 18th.

Santa’s workshop is bustling, and he’s already reading letters and making his lists! Through this program, children can send a letter to Santa and receive a personalized reply by Christmas.

Starting Nov. 18, Santa Express Mailboxes will be available at all three Kenton County Public Library locations, the Kenton County Government Center in Covington, the Historic Kenton County Courthouse in Independence and Kenton County Animal Services. The mailboxes will remain until Dec. 16. No postage is needed for letters dropped at these locations. All locations are available during their regular business hours.

How to mail your Letter to Santa:

  • Kenton County Government Center in Covington & Kenton County Animal Services: Place letter in the Santa Express Mailbox.
  • Kenton County Public Libraries: Place letter in the Santa Express Mailbox or Drop off letter through the drive thru.
  • All locations are available during their regular business hours.
  • Submit your letter online

Santa, of course, knows where each child lives; however, the post office needs home addresses to deliver the letters! Because each child at the same address will receive a different letter from Santa at home, it is very important that the child’s name and complete home address are correct and legible.

The program is free; however, Kenton County Parks & Recreation invites you to spread holiday cheer by donating a non-perishable food or personal care item for Be Concerned when you drop off your letter. Last year, Kenton County collected nearly 1,900 letters and 435 items for Be Concerned.

A special thanks to Archways McDonald’s, Independence Cleaners and Jude’s Custom Exhaust, Auto Repair & Towing in Independence for their continued support.

For more information or to learn how to become a Letters to Santa, Letters From Santa Program Partner, contact Rhonda Ritzi, Recreation Programs Coordinator at (859) 525-PLAY (7529) or rhonda.ritzi@kentoncounty.org.
